The deal

R.I.P.the runner who thought someone else was in chargeNobody's in charge. It's a bunch of people running the same track on the same day, each at their own risk.

You look after you

  • Carry your own water, food, phone, first aid kit and a snake bandage. The snakes bring their own.
  • Have the route on your phone, offline. Signal drops out in the parks.
  • Pull out when you need to, and tell someone when you do.

It's off if

  • A Total Fire Ban in the North Central district.
  • The parks are closed.
  • A forecast of 32° or more in Bendigo.

No discussion on the day. Everyone signed up hears the day before, and if you hear nothing on a day like that, it's still off.
